Apple now the most popular camera brand on Flickr
Cameraphones have unseated DSLR cameras on Flickr. For the first time, the most popular photo-sharing website lists the #1 camera brand used in the Flickr Community as Apple, pushing long-time leader Canon to #2. Meanwhile, Samsung has overtaken Nikon and Sony.

In related news, around August 2014, the Apple iPhone 5s overtook the Apple iPhone 5 to be the most popular camera on Flickr. The top five most popular cameras are now all cameraphones, with the Canon 5D II and 7D being pushed off the chart.
