46MP Canon EOS-3D X in the works?

There’s a buzz in the Canon world that a new 46 megapixel DSLR may be being developed. Keith Cooper at Northlight Images and Craig Blair at Canon Rumors peg this as the long-hoped-for and mythic Canon EOS-3D X.

Also being discussed is a Canon EOS-7D Mark II.

  • AF: Same as 1DX
  • USB 3
  • CF+SD

Canon EOS-7D Mark II Specifications

  • 24 MP
  • 1Dx/5D3 based AF system.
  • 10 FPS.
  • ISO 100-25600.
