Scans from April 1 -- The half-way point

In these ultrasound scans taken on April 1, 2002, the fetus is 19 weeks and one day old. He weighs about 9 oz and was gently moving his arms and legs. We were able to see the all-important component that made the "it" a "he", although that photo has been edited out for family viewing!

Above: This is his face (or at least his skull),
resting against the womb (the grey area on the left).

Lying on his back, junior shows his handsome profile.

Now face down, we can see his spine, back, small pelvis and thigh.

Scan from February 7 -- The first trimester

Here is a picture of our baby nestled in Jennie's womb (the black area):

This ultrasound scan was made on February 7, 2002, towards the end of the first trimester.
The fetus was 11 weeks and 3 days old, about one inch long, and was moving actively.
