Nikon D600 coming Sept 13?

The rumored 24MP, full-frame, $1,500 new DSLR by Nikon — the D600 — is expected to be announced on September 13 in Dubai, according to Nikon Rumors.

This would be before Photokina which is September 18 to 23, 2012 in Cologne.

The latest rumored D600 specs are:

  • 24.7MP full frame sensor
  • 3.2" LCD with 921K dot with ambient sensor control
  • HDMI output
  • Built-in AF motor
  • No built-in GPS
  • 39 AF points
  • AF face detection
  • 5 fps (same as the D700, the D800 has 4fps)
  • Exposure compensation: ±5 EV (same as the D800)
  • In-camera RAW editor
  • Internal AF motor
  • Very small and lightweight body
  • 16 bit image processing
  • Expeed 3 processor
  • Maximum video recording: 30 minutes
  • Built-in mic
  • 19 scene modes
  • Magnesium alloy only on top and back only
