From the north and west -- Los Angeles, LAX, Orange County, Oceanside, Encinitas, Del Mar,
Sorrento Valley, Carmel Valley
Take I-5 south to Del Mar. In Del Mar, take SR-56 east. It's a funny exit as the interchange hasn't been
built yet, so you have to exit onto a surface street and turn left (east). Get into the second lane from the
right (important, else you can go the wrong way). At the light go straight and you're onto SR-56.
Exit at Black Mountain Road. At the end of the offramp turn left (north) towards the big hill that is Black Mountain.
You'll pass a shopping mall to your right. At the third light, just at the end of the shopping mall,
turn right onto Paseo Montalban. Go through two lights and move into the left lane. About
100 yards after that second light, turn left onto Via Cima Bella. Take the third road
on your right -- Vista Tercera -- and go to the end. We're the second-to-last house on the left, number 9582.

From the south-west -- La Jolla, Pacific Beach Take CA-52 east. Take CA-163 north which joins I-15. On the I-15 near Poway, exit at Rancho Penasquitos Blvd (by Sabre Springs). Turn left (northwest), following Rancho Penasquitos Blvd up the hill. (At CA-56, Rancho Penasquitos Blvd silently becomes Carmel Mountain Road.)After passing a Carl's Jr. and a 7-11, at the crest of the hill (where you'll see a high school), turn left on Sundevil Way (listed on some maps as Paseo Valdear).Turn immediately left on Via Tres Vista, then take the second right onto Vista Tercera. From the east -- Poway, Sabre SpringsTake Poway Road west towards Rancho Penasquitos. Keep going east to Mount Carmel High School. (Note that after the I-15, Poway Road becomes Rancho Penasquitos Blvd., and after CA-56 it becomes Carmel Mountain Road.)
